As our key concern is to offer you outstanding quality and a "traditional” lifespan, we have taken great care in choosing our materials and production methods. So Apéro ! is an artisanal company registered with the Haute-Savoie trade register.

Wooden base

The Guillotine (sausage slicer) is crafted in a traditional way, using untreated beech wood that meets European food contact standards. Finishing is carried out using cooking oil. The wood used is PEFC-certified (sustainable forest management). The base is glued thus providing it with higher resistance and less risk of distortion.


The high-performance blade is forged in Thiers (Puy-de-Dôme) in the purest tradition of Auvergne’s master cutlers. The stainless steel used was specifically chosen for its resistance and durability. Its tailored micro-toothed design provides incomparable slicing performances over time.
